A few years ago if you where to say “Portable desktop” the changes are people would think you where referring to a laptop or notepad computer. Today you might as well be referring to your key ring.

This is one of the good selling points of laptops and PDA systems. Now is is possible to have a compact operating system installed on your flash drive. A flash drive is a small USB device that was originally designed to store data in a removable in the same way as other forms of removable media such as CD ROMs and floppy disks. As the technology advances flash drives are getting faster and can store a lot more data.
